The whole menu just sounds good! Bun Rieu & Bun Bo Hue were the favorite dishes on the table. Wagyu pho had a generous amount of meat, broth is clear. The chicken wings are flats with one bone. Staffs are very attentive and quick in service. No reservations and was seated within 5 minutes

La Dong has officially become my new favorite Vietnamese dining experience in Manhattan. From the moment I arrived, every detail felt thoughtful and intentional. Earth and Kop were exceptional behind the bar—personable, incredibly knowledgeable, and true mixologists. Their creative cocktail program is as compelling as the cuisine itself, with each drink showcasing balance, originality, and a clear sense of craftsmanship. The food was equally memorable, bursting with vibrant, authentic flavors and beautifully fresh ingredients that honored the essence of Vietnamese cuisine. Every course reflected care, precision, and a deep respect for tradition while feeling refreshingly contemporary. A truly phenomenal dining experience, and one I’ll be recommending without hesitation.

Had an amazing dinner here this week. The short rib curry was outstanding, rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly tender. The steamed fish was equally impressive, cooked just right and full of flavor. Don’t skip the crepe appetizer either, it was a standout on its own. On top of all that, the staff was so warm and friendly, it genuinely felt like a home cooked meal made with care. Highly recommend, will definitely be back!

Fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented! Everything tasted amazing, especially the pho and bánh mì. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were authentic, and the portions were generous. A special thanks to Dream for the excellent service—she was friendly, attentive, and made our dining experience even better. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

La Dong is one of those places where everything comes together beautifully: the food, the atmosphere, and the people. The space is absolutely gorgeous, with colorful floral installations overhead, warm lighting, and thoughtful design details that create an inviting and memorable setting. The food was fantastic. We ordered the Tofu Scallion appetizer (which the kitchen kindly modified for us), the crispy tofu, vegetable pho, tofu & mushroom bánh mì, and an iced Vietnamese coffee. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and prepared with care. The pho was especially comforting, while the bánh mì had great texture and balance. What really elevated the experience was the service. Sophia was warm, attentive, and incredibly hospitable from beginning to end. She made us feel welcomed and checked in throughout the meal without ever being intrusive. La Dong combines delicious Vietnamese cuisine with exceptional hospitality, and that’s a combination that keeps guests coming back. Highly recommend for vegetarians and anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in NYC. 🌸🍜☕
